









Bastardo, es el hijo de un genocida que intenta reparar su pasado, cuando a los 35 años descubre que su padre biológico, al que nunca ha visto, es un condenado por crímenes de lesa humanidad, por lo que decide viajar a conocerlo y vivir junto a él sus últimos años de vida. Iniciando un largo viaje personal de reparación, que lo llevará a romper con su herencia familiar genocida y al encuentro con los familiares de las víctimas de su padre.
Bastard, he is the son of a criminal who tries to repair his past. At the age of 35, he discovers that his biological father, whom he has never seen, is convicted of crimes against humanity, so he decides to travel to meet him and live with him, the last years of his life. A long journey of repair, which will lead him to break with his genocidal family heritage and meet the familiars victims of his father.

José Luis Navarrete Rovano (Pepe Rovano, 49) Viña del Mar (Chile). His documentaries include L’eco della Bici (Italy, 2006 Audience Award at Documentary in Europe – Torino 2006), Tres pasos para el Retorno (Granada 2009), Tawantinsuyo (Perú 2006) and Ada (Italy 2012). In 2014, he was awarded the Audiovisual Grant for Script Development from Chile’s National Council of Arts and Culture for his transmedia project Black Demon Team. He produced and directed the documentary series entitled Sin Fronteras, which was broadcast on La Red channel in 2017 and 2018.
In 2017 he produced the interactive project Black Demon Team (Docugame). In 2018 he was awarded the grant for Artistic Development for Memory and Human Rights for his interactive documentary project entitled Memorial Rocas. In an “augmented reality” version, the documentary was presented at several film festivals and art galleries throughout Europe and Chile. Pepe Rovano is currently a researcher PhD in Interdisciplinary Studies on Thought, Culture and Society at the University of Valparaíso and in the Huinay Scientific Center (PUCV) in Chile.
Filmmaker with a specialty in film direction and executive production from the University of Valparaíso (Chile), with postgraduate studies in creation and development of premium series and feature films from EICTV (Cuba). She is an academic at the University of La Serena (Chile). She has developed most of her career as Executive Producer in various TV series and author and interactive idoc.
Are the Italian co-production partners of the film. Recent productions include: When We Were Bullies by Jay Rosenblatt (short doc Sundance 2021), Exemplary Behaviour (Golden Dove, Fipresci, Interreligious award, 2019), My Home, In Libya (official selection Locarno Film Festival 2018, Chicago Int. Is an award winning journalist, director and producer that for thirty years has produced films, tv-reports and documentaries for cinema and national and international broadcasters. Acknowledged works are Oscar nominees The Man Who Sold His Skin and Brotherhood, Sundance Best Director Award Cold Case Hammarskjöld and IDFA Frontlight premiere Arica. Andreas Rocksén is shareholder and MD at Laika Film & Television AB since 2004.
